Dr. Joseph Bonina, D.C., C.C.S.P. of Central Cape Chiropractic has been providing individualized chiropractic care to Cape Cod families for over 35 years. He is currently the only Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician on Cape Cod and has the experience needed to give quality patient-centered care for athletes and non-athletes with musculoskeletal conditions.

After scheduling your appointment and arriving for your first visit, Dr. Bonina will review your health history and perform a standard orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination. He will review X-ray, MRI, and blood test results that you may have already had. If indicated, more testing may be recommended. With a complete understanding of your condition, chiropractic adjustments will follow. Dr. Bonina will design a care program that is specific to your health condition.

Because everybody and every injury are unique, we provide a variety of different treatment options. Which type of care fits your goals? There are three types or stages of chiropractic care:

Initial Intensive Care: The first priority of any treatment is to reduce your pain and relieve symptoms. During this portion of your healing, treatments may include chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic modalities.

Rehabilitation/Corrective Care: Once your pain is under control, we will work with you to build improved function and keep corrected spinal changes and balance the muscles supporting the injured area.

Wellness Care/Preventative Care: After the recovery of your original problem, regular chiropractic check-ups can help preserve your progress and catch little problems before they become major concerns. Dr. Bonina explains everything in advance so you can ask questions, understand your condition and what can be done to help you. How long you decide to benefit from chiropractic care is up to you.
